Woodbine Bracken Endurance Award
Purpose To encourage and reward MHAA members competing in endurance with a passion for those lonely miles.
Eligibility Criteria & Award Details
Horses must be registered with MHAA Pure or Part Bred Registry.
Entrants must hold current MHAA membership.
If the horse is vetted out in a ride, the kilometres ridden in that ride will not count towards the final tally.
The winner will be determined as the horse with the greatest sum of kilometres from official endurance rides completed during the year.
In the event of a tie, the horse with the lowest average heart rate during competition rides for the year will be declared the winner.
Additional kilometres will be added to the horses total for placings in an event as set out below.
o 1st Place + 20km
o 2nd Place + 15km
o 3rd Place + 10km
Any member wishing to enter must submit their endurance ride logbooks to the following address prior to February 1st.
